Scott Carpenter:  Punk was the reformation of the canon of rock and roll. If Joe Strummer is a singer, then who can't be? With a head full of halfcocked ideas, a recovering but busted heart and just enough concentration to get them onto paper, my songbook started filling up.  More here.
